  • Incredible action
  • Unique shad-style body
  • Pro-selected paint schemes
  • 3D eyes
  • Free-floating rattles
Strike King's deep-digging 3/4 oz Red Eye Shad offers all the same tournament-proven characteristics as their 1/2 oz Red Eye Shad. Carefully crafted by the Strike King Pro-Staff, the Red Eye Shad produces an incredible action and features a unique shad-style body, pro-chosen paint schemes, red 3D eyes and free-floating rattles to give you the best action and to entice tournament-winning fish from a far. The action when the Red Eye Shad falls is unbeatable and it's rigged with premium VMC® Vanadium Cone Cut hooks.

''I'll choose the 3/4 oz Red Eye to get maximum depth. It's a good choice for getting deeper in the summer months, for getting down on ledges or to yoyo it in anywhere from 7-20 feet. I'll sink it down and yoyo it along the bottom almost how you'd fish a jig. The tournament proven Redeye Shad is one deadly lipless crankbait.''

Rated 5 out of 5 by "An unbelievable lure" I took this lure up to central Maine last year for 3 seperate vacations. On my June and July weeks, this lure in thesexy shad color produced 2 25+ largemouth days. There were a couple days in these trips where I caught 11 and 15 in just over an hour on this color and the chartruese color. I posted a picture of a relative sample of the catches...Now I'm going to try some of the larger size....When I came back to NJ and fished my local lakes in October, the yellow one produced 2 ,5 pounders before the end of the season.............. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bait. I am so excited about the new 3/4 oz model red eye shad. I have been tearing them up on the 1/2 oz. model. I waited in anticipation for the 3/4oz. release. I will use this bait during the sumer to bang ledges for those big bass. Great job Strike King. January 26, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW! Over the past summer i used this bait extensively on Lake Barkely in Kentucky. What i found was this bait drives those bass nuts. On my first trip there in July i used the redeye to run through schools of shad that the bronze backs were tearing up. I caught 2 fatties out of the school and then lost it to a faulty knot. Next trip a big 5lber smacked it when i ran it past a dock. Bottom line, this is a BIG fish bait and should be used as such. Nice Job Strike King! December 8, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Runs True, Amazingly Realistic The main differences between this lure and the Bill Lewis traps is the shape but more importantly it runs very true. At certain speeds, the Lewis traps will turn to the side and have weird action on the retieve. This bait runs very true at low and high speeds and throws out great vibrations that can call a fish from several feet away. I like to fish it over grass lines and hard bottom points because you can cover a lot of water and get the feeding fish to bite good. November 19, 2008

Depends on what forage is in the body of water you're fishing. I like the bluegill and sexy sunfish and have great sucess with those 2 colors
