best top water lure
Ide recomend this to anyone. every cast something jumps at it . i used to catch just barely even one pounders of the other topwater baits i had but when i switched to this rage tail first cast i caught a nice 2 pounder (seemed promising) and next one i caught (next cast) was what seemed to be a 4 to 5 pounder that snaped my 10 pound line

I fish top water a lot due to the ponds I'm on having heavy weeds all over. These things produce top water but have had more hits with the Ribits but at the same time have had more hits with these under water then I have had with the Ribits. My suggestion would to pick up a pack of each frog and find out what works best in your area. But these suckers put out a great performance and moves a lot of water to attract fish and the sure do.

Pond Bass Beware
I rig these with a 6/0 EWG Gama with a BPS spring keeper.Deadly on a pond throwing to the bank.A couple quick flicks is about all it takes.Have alot hits running topwater also. The commotion these legs create must drive bass crazy. One morning last week I caught 15 Bass on 15 casts....Amazing Bait

No, they do not. The idea of these is to get that reaction strike. Keep your rod tip up at about 10 o'clock. Reel it in with a medium fast retrieve. You can pause it for a second but not too long. If you want one that floats, Stanley Ribbits makes specific ones that float. The issue with those is that they are lighter than most other frogs and don't cast as far or well.
I fish mine on a 5.4:1 with out too many problems, but the 6.2:1 would be a better choice i believe. The slightly faster ratio would be my choice since it will help you get the frog to the surface that much faster.
I've used all colors and they all catch fish. If the water is clear, than choose the natural green, if the water is murky, than just pick one. The rage tail creates such a stir in the water that Bass can't resist it.
