  • Exclusive design
  • Two realistic pincers
  • Slender body engineered to create turblulence
If the waters you're fishing call for craws, toss in the Rage Tail Craw and watch the water boil in a violent frenzy! Exclusive design features two realistic pincers and a long, slender body engineered to create lots of turbulence. For best results, fish Texas-rigged, Carolina-rigged, or as a jig trailer.
Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 94 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Man o man I have been using these now for about 3 months so I felt I could do a decent review on them. I started using the rage chunks as trailers on jigs so I felt I couldn't go wrong with these. I was right. These are so well built. Most quality baits that come in small quantities and are expensive, come apart and tear up with one or two fish. Not these. I found a spot here in central Oklahoma that the hybrid bass were tearing everything up. I caught about 25 in 2 hours. Most were 10-11 inches with the largest being 17" Not monster fish by anybody's standards, but they do fight like kings and are hard on baits. I did have to re-hook the craw into a different slot due to being nailed several times, but I felt the bait held up really well for so many fish caught. I have been using the blue black flake and the green pumpkin. Both of these colors work very well for the stained waters around central Oklahoma. I cant tell if the coffee sent works or not, as I have some of these that have been sitting out for awhile in the garage and smell like plastic, but the experts and many others on several sites claim it does. I would defiantly recommend these to anybody. You cant go wrong with these. They are kinda pricey for the amount you get, but very well worth it. August 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great soft plastic. This is one of the best on the shelf. I own every color and size for my bread and butter, which is jiging. My Grandpa always says, ""You have to dance with the one that brought you." This is it my friends. Tie this on and you too will catch more fish. March 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strike King Rage Tail Craws Boy these things really catch fish ! When you have to slow down throw one of these up on the bank and the fish eat it up !! March 9, 2014

You can but I think it works best as a trailer on a jig or by itself on a shakey head. The price?... Come on, kvd has already redone his kitchen.

A:
This bait is design to be used as a trailer on a jig or to be Texas rigged weighted or weightless. This not to say you can not try but it was not designed that way

Hey Bassman94, i also live in PA and love to bass fish. I have tried both craw imitations and prefer the Rage Tail hands down. They work so well i have even caught big bass in ponds where there are no actual crawfish. I use them with a 1/16oz weighted Gamatzu (i don't think thats how you spell it so bear with me) 3/0 hook. It keeps it from nose diving into the mud. Hope this helps.

I'd say you can't go wrong with either but I prefer the rage craw. The claws give off more vibration which I believe entices more strikes. The chigger craw is a little more subtle.
