Strike King®'s Rage Tail® Anaconda is a big worm—big enough to be a predator in its own right, as demonstrated by its unique seeking action. The Rage Tail Anaconda's large swirl tail is part body extension, part ribbon fin, and it ripples in response to every movement through the water. Big bass will accept the challenge every time!
I purchased the Green Pumkin because it's summer and the bass are deep. I'm not a crankin or carolina rig guy; I stay loyal to the texas rig no matter what. This worm/snake will drive the bass nuts. The bait may seem huge once you pull it out of the package, but the bass destroy this thing. I know in one of my other reviews, I said the Berkley Power Worm was my go-to bait. This Rage bait is going to take its place. Great tail action and a large profile. And the package it comes in keeps all the worms nice, tight and above all else, perfectly formed even when stored in 100+ degree storage bins.

Rage Tail is Too Good
Lately Strike King has come out with new soft baits called rage tail. Recently the Rage tail lobster has came out and it is amazing. Back to the Anaconda. It is by far the worm with the best action. The tail is so wiggly in the water bass just can not leave this thing alone. and coming with strike king's new coffee scent, this bait is unbelievable. Regular texas rig is good but you can also use this on a weighted hook as well for great action and success.

Strike King did it again, this worm is amazing it is huge and attracts bass of all sizes. It can be fished Texas rigged or worked weightless like a snake bait. Lots of action if rigged correctly.

Great to carolaina rig
The Anaconda is a very active bait in the water giving a greater profile and vibration then most other curly tails out on the market today. Have used it in many lakes though out california with great results, produceing quality bass were ever i use it. I have recommeded it to many of my freinds, and they have had the same results confirming to me that it is a great .

I use a 6/0 Owner Weighted Twistlock Light (3/32 oz). Its great to swim it, and if you pause on the retrieve, the worm pretty much falls horizontally with the tail wiggling above. Can also rig it with a regular 6/0 hook texas style if you prefer a nose-first fall.
Use a 4/0 EWG worm hook. Gamakatsu is the best brand and you can get a pack of them for $3-4. 4/0 is a little on the bigger side but they will give you better hook ups as long as you have developed a good technique for worm fishing. If you go to the 7" worm then use a 3/0. Good luck.
I have used this lure unweighted, drop shot, and texas rigged and they all work great. I think the drop shot or unweighted rig is better for open water and texas rig is better for cover. Hope this helps.
