Strike King Pro-Model 5XD or 6XD Series
I use this for saltwater fishing off rocks. Its excellent for Tigres (rock grouper)..especially those weighing in about 5kg. I do have two small complaints though. Something needs to be done to make the eyes stay on. Better glue perhaps? Also the the hooks break easily so you should walk with extra treble hooks in your bag. However, I still give it 5 stars because of the sheer lethality of this lure for catching Tigres. Because it's a deep diver you need to be careful about getting stuck in rocks. Ease off when you feel a bump and the lure would just rise to the surface avoiding snags.

Hard to beat the 5xd!
I truly consider the Strike King 5XD a confidence bait. I have caught more bass on it than any other deep diver I own. It has an awesome action, & as advertised hits 12-15ft. The four colors I catch most of my fish on are Bluegill, Chartreuse Sexy Shad, Blue Gizzard Shad, and Gizzard shad. The 5XD is hard to beat!

There is nothing better than catching bass on deep diving crankbaits, and when I need one I tie on my 6xd series Strike Kings. There is a great color selection to chose from and also the option of rattles or silent. These are by far my favorite crankbaits and would recommend buying one of every color and type because you never know what kind of conditions you'll be faced with out on the water. The hooks do seem to rust quite easily, so I would recommend changing out the trebles on it.

Normally I always threw either a buzzbait, spinnerbait or used worm gear...however always kept a 5xd rigged up in case baitfish surfaced close getting attacked by some type of bass...when this happened the 5xd never failed to produce results. Then it occurred to me to start with the 5xd instead of holding it in wait...wow...now I'm hooked on this bad little boy!!! I would rate this along with the strike king square bill as essential!!....Thanks for these cranks......
