i used this lure only 3 times in the blue and yellow color the first time i used it was on my friends pond and i caught 14 bass and 1 over 3 pounds in abt an hour this is a very good lure good for big bluegill 2.

This is great for most any type fish. I have caught bass, crappie, yellow perch, and more on this. Great lure for the price. I haven't caught any monster bass on it yet, but i have caught some about two pounds.

some people will look at a mini king spinner and say no way its to small to catch serious fish but I am here to tell you that this bait is deffinitely one of my all time favorite spinners my brother and I put these pint size spinners to the test in our canals in florida and also in lake of egypt and lake kinkaid illinois and this bait really produced hits when nothing else would we cought blue gill warmouth crappie and none other then the large mouth bass they all love it get one and catch fish signed 14 year old joe
p.s take a kid fishing!

Its hard to fish it wrong, you can just real it in and catch fish. I like to find what depth the fish are at and when i real it in i real about five feet and let it die. then give it 2 sharp jerks and continue doing the same thing all the way back to the boat or bank

TRY THEM, EASY AS 1 TWO 3..JUST HIT THE WATER, THEY DO MOST OF OF THE WORK...Try white and blue /black you'll be just fine.

If there is some clarity to the water start off with 1/4 ounce double willow leaf or Strike King mini series (single blade). These are the most basic and productive spinnerbaits around to start with.Remember spinnerbaits are the most versatile bait in the tackle box so vary your retrive and tinker with color and blade options. Be patient and keep casting quite often bass will not hit it until the thrid of fourth cast.
For starters do not invest in the expensive spinnerbaits. Start off with the 2 or 3 dollar varitey they are basic and can be just as effective.

Depending on the water clarity and the aggressiveness of the fish will determind how fast or slow to fish. Under overcast days in pretty clear water i fish it at the surface and fast so they cant get a good look at it. Slow down in merkier water. You can fish it anywhere, but around sunken wood is good and down a weedline is the best, just hold on to that rod when they hit because they crush it.

There are many different style retrieves for a spinnerbait. Depending on whats in the pond should tell you what to use. Bluegill patterns always seem to do well but in my mind you can never go wrong with white, and maybe a white with chartruse.

When fishing any body of water the main key is to match your bait to the forage of the species that you are targeting (often called "matching-the-hatch"). For bass and other predatory species in farm ponds this is usally some sort of bluegill or small panfish. Match the color of the spinnerbait that you are throwing as closely as possible to the prey (in the instance of the bluegill, try chartruse or fire tiger to mimic the color).A:Â
