Rattling lures do work—there’s no disputing that—but remember: real baitfish don’t rattle. Designed to get the big bite when the bass are acting skittish, the KVD Silent Stalker has the same great action and irresistible wobble as the Strike King® Pro Model crankbait without the added noise of internal rattles to chase wary lurkers away. Plus they are available in Kevin's best colors!

by JimmyMonize my favorite crankbaits by far
I've thrown many crankbaits and the strike king line up has caught me the most and the biggest fish out of all of them. I can target all dept levels with these lures and the action of the bait is what I believe does the job. the profile of the bait lets you cast these baits a long way to get them down to their maximum depths, of course thrown on the right gear as well. 7' 10" cranking rod and a low gear ratio real and 12# flourocarbon line. I caught the biggest bass of my life so far with the 5XD Sexy Shad (see the picture)

I have used these lures in the past at Lake powell in Arizona, I have caught stripers and walleye by the hundreds trolling this lure near the bottom in 20 foot or so depth, also some large and smallmouth bass..
