This 8-sided beast takes the concept of the soft jerkbait to another level. Like a faceted bead vs. a round bead, the Strike King® KVD Perfect Plastics Ocho's smooth beveled sides reflect light in different directions, creating a flash effect unlike that of any other softbait. Bass respond readily! Precision molded of supersoft plastic, with a slow sink rate, the versatile Ocho is ideal for jerkbaiting and wacky rigging. All KVD Perfect Plastics lures feature soft, salt impregnated plastic and an exclusive coffee scent that masks human scents and oils to produce more and longer bites.

One of the finest baits I have ever used. Great colors. Great for pitching into cover on a weightless Texas rig. I have caught many bass on this bait on the Ohio River and small farm ponds. One of my favorite go to baits in the spring and summer.

This worm works the best out of all of the senkos. the coffee sent really works. i use them wacky rigged with my baitcaster wich works very well because they are easy to cast. these also work good texas rigged.

Rig it on a 5/0 NON OFFSET hook. i say non offset in capitals because it will twist yoru line into rope if u use an offset hook. just dont do it. and, btw, dont even buy this lure. it has bad plastic and terrible action on the fall. gary yamamoto senkos are the only bait with the right plastic and fall for soft stickbaits.
If your looking for a Jig head hook I would go with Tru Tungsten's Flea Flicker jig head. Weightless is good but you will get a lot more action using this jig head. The Flea Flicker shakes as it falls and the bait wobbles more as it shakes. It will not fall that fast when you use an 3/32 oz Flea Flicker. I don't fish them weightless that much any more because I get a lot more fish this way. (even in shallow water) Hope this has help you
I catch them all the time on Chickamauga Lake on the Tn River. I use the Tru Tungsten Flea Flicker in 3/32 oz and wacky rig it. As the rig falls the jig head wobbles back and forth which makes the bait wobble even more and since it is weighted it will wobble more and you can fish it deeper. I fish it shallow also because it does not speed up the fall that much. It still falls at a low speed. My point is that by using the flea flicker or a lightly weight hook or jighead you can increase the action and vibration of the bait which makes it alot easier for the fish to locate in murky water. and believe me I know what you mean when you say murky water. more like watered down mud sometimes. I hope this will help you catch some fish and good luck
I primarily fish this in murky water myself and yes it works. The green colors seem to work best for me. what i usually do is cast them let them sit on the bottom for a minute pull them up and usually a bass hits it on the way up
Yes, the Strike King Ocho will catch fish in merky water. Darker colors like June Bug seem to catch fish in dirty water. I found the best way to rig this worm is Whacky style. It will also, work on a Texas rig.
I've used this worm almost every time I have fished this year. The pond I fish is pretty murky with a lot of moss. The only color I use out there is watermelon red flake rigged really simple. Just run the hook through about an inch of the worm, pop the hook out and you're ready to go. I fish these weightless because almost every fish I've caught out there has been while it's still dropping. I tend to catch 2 or 3 two pounders every time I'm out, but just last week with this worm I caught 9 bass, one of which weighing in at 5 pounds!
