Strike King KVD 2-Blade Scorcher Baits
The KVD Scorcher is a great spinnerbait. I use the Chartruse/ White 1/2 0z, 3- blade, and can really burn it. This is almost lilke the StrikeKing "Bunner" spinnerbait, but I think that this one is better. It weighted so it will not roll over, and it comes with a prerigged trailerhook.

Tough as Nails
I have only good things to say about these spinnerbaits or should I say "one" because after a hundred plus fish ,on a recent Fall trip to Canada, I had to retire it. I caught so many walleyes ,pike and smallmouth that the skirt was torn to pieces and the wire was tuned so many times I became worried that the bait might crack in two...It almost became a joke in the boat because no one could believe the abuse the bait was taking and it just kept catching fish after fish ! Needless to say the old tackle box has been stocked with these warriors and is ready for next season.

this bait is awesome. i have a pond and i like to burn the bait near the weeds. u can actually see fish take the bait. the only problem with the bait is that panfish follow the thing in. by far the best color is sexy shad. i like a 3/8 oz with gold and chrome blades it produces a lot of bass and draws lunkers in. the first time i used this bait i caught 2 4lb bass and 1 that went 7.4lbs. it also produces lots of fish that weigh any where from 1-3 lbs. also try the kvd swim jig. my favorite color for the jig is blue gill. thanks for reading i hope you found this review helpful!

Colored Blades Loose Paint!
I purchased a few of these KVD Scorchers without hesitation because I've had tons of success with the regular KVD line of spinnerbaits from Strike King and Bass Pro. The action of the blades is awesome, I can really burn it back to the boat with a 7.1:1 ratio reel and they stay just below the surface without hopping on the top like regular spinnerbaits do. My huge complaint is that with the colored blades that come with the Chart/White and Coleslaw, the paint just plainly does not hold up. In fact it is very poor quality! The paint lasted all of 15 - 20 minutes of fishing (no strikes, no bumping off cover of structure, just cast and retrieve). I'm surprised that Strike King put out something like that and that KVD put his name on it. Otherwise it would have been a better review grade.
