Sporting a classic tube shape, Strike King®'s Coffee Tubes are enhanced with real coffee bean granules and coffee bean oil to give the tubes an earthy tinge and a naturally strong scent/taste big bass are eager to slurp up. Not only does the coffee scent/flavor entice and encourage fish to hold the bite longer, it also works to mask human scents. They are salt-impregnated too!

The 3-1/2'' Coffee Tube has a hollow head and is most effective when rigged with an internal tube jighead for dragging, jigging, or fishing structures with the hook exposed.

The 4-1/2'' Coffee Tube has a solid head and a hollow body. Great on a Texas rig for flipping and pitching.

My new favorite tube Tubes are one of my top 5 all time favorite baits to throw. I have used them for years and always have one rigged up and ready to go. I have been using several Strike King products lately and have been more than impressed. I found these Coffee Tubes last week and wanted to give them a run. I couldn't be happier. I found the Watermelon gold with copper flake on sale. I bought the 3.5" tubes. They come 8 to a pack. After using these with great results, I purchased 5 more packs of this color. I do wish they would come more to a pack or in a value pack, but either way I am very impressed. These tubes are covered in heavy salt. They are also covered in a coffee sent. This has always been a major plus for me. While I can't 100% say that the salt or coffee attracts more fish, I can say that it masks my scent and that catches fish. Packaging was top notch on these. The resealable bag and the small size is perfect for my tackle box and peg board. I am using the Mustad 4/0 tube hook with these. I have a pegged 1/4 oz weight and have been Texas rigging these. The bass love em. I average about 3-4 fish per tube before its shot. I also use these as a trailer on a 1/2 oz swim jig. I work this like a swim bait never hitting the bottom and bouncing my rod tip up as I retrieve it. With the skirt and tail action of the tube, this makes for something Bass don't often see. I really can't explain it, but it works and lands fish. I have yet to find a Strike King product that doesn't impress me. With the price of these tubes, I may have found a new favorite tube. I'd like to see more color options in the future, but for now, these are hard to beat. September 8, 2012
great plastic tube Problem with these tubes is that you have to buy more than one package because you catch too many fish with them. Thrown around cover during spring and summertime and dragged and twitched slowly bass will inhale them. Dont even remember how many bags ive gone thru. will make sure to buy double the amount this year. January 4, 2012
Best tube bait this tube bait is one of the best tube bait i have in my arsenal and i just bumped the lure around but wow on strikes. man the bass chewed these lures up. October 12, 2011
Great durable bait Let me first say that I have never really used tubes to fish for bass. I used to use them very sparingly with just jig heads inserted into the heads. In the lakes/ponds I fish this is really not effective because they are tangled quite frequently. i usually fish Senkos, flukes and frogs. I found out that they can be rigged just like worms and decided to give them another try. Well, I fish a lake that has very heavy pressure and caught 4 nice sized bass in about 45 minutes with one tube texas rigged. It usually takes me about 2 hours to do this with switching baits 3-4 times. These things really work well and I have ordered 2 more packs. These are very durable and last me about 5 hook-ups. I don't use the tube jig hooks. They get hung up too easily, and are a pain to rig. Just rig it texas rigged with a 3/0 offset worm hook and a 1/16-1/4oz bullet weight... lighter weight for slower fall.

I would Texas rig the tube. I would use a Tungsten weight, and a Gamakatsu® EWG Worm Hook. It will keep your tube really weedless. You may also want to fish it on a braid line like Power Pro.

I fish ponds a lot.The best way I have found is to use the mister twister keeper hook and place a small split shot sinker ahead of it.

You can fish it texas with a wide gap hook and a sliding worm weight, or purchase BPS EZ tube weights which places the weight inside the tube. I prefer the EZ because I don't like weight exposed, but try both. They will have very different actions.

At you local Bass Pro Shop store or on their website. They come in many sizes to fit any application that you are looking for. Heavy for thick cover or lighter weight for cases when you just want to fish them in open water.

Unfortunately, the Strike King Tube Jigheads are currently not available. However, we do offer a number of other branded tube jigheads including a few of our own Bass Pro Shops Tube Jigheads. To locate these and more, do a product search for "tube jighead".

I use a Gamakatsu EWG 3/0 hook and use what I call a semi Texas rig. The 3/0 hook is just the right length to allow the point to pass through the tenticles and not the body then come up the other side where I just skin the point, makes for an eaisier hook set in my opinion.

Use internal jigheads to fish any type of tube. The jigheads come in many weights and sizes depending on what type of cover you happen to be fishing. You can find these jigheads here on the Bass Pro Shop website or at you local Bass Pro Shop store.

I've used these for Inshore Red fish. Suggestion is to rig with a small (#2 or #3) split ring on the jig head for bettter action. I also added scent. I havent tried to double the lure because of shallow water fishing I've done. Hope this helps a bit.

You can fish them one of two ways. They can be Texas rigged on a EWG hook. That style is most popular fishing in the brush or flipping & pitching to shallow targets.

They can also be rigged on a jig head with the hook exposed. That style works best when dragging or hopping them on large flats or dropoffs.

Yes a tube can be Texas rigged. I would use a wide gap hook that will fit the size tube you are going to fish. When fishing a Texas rigged tube I like to keep the bait compact so I peg a bullet weight, or use a XPS E-Z Tube Weight. XPS aslo makes Finesse Tube Jigheads, and Weedless Tube Heads. A simple round ball jighead will work as well.
