I live in NE Oregon, this spinnerbait works great for big Largemouths at night on our local reservoirs we slow roll them the along the bottom most of the time.

This is an excellent tool for catching deep bass during hot summer months. Stays deep even during fast retrieves. I have taken many bass form the bottom in 20 to 25+ feet of water with this spinnerbait.

I caught a 7 pound bass the first day that I fished with this lure, and then a 5# and 4 1/2# bass the next trip. I use the 1 ounce version, and it is heavy enough to virtually eliminate backlashes. Buy a white one and try it out !

These spinnerbaits go deep and stay there very well. Just what I wanted for probing deeper structure. They also troll well and track true.
