Research has shown that a red blood trail triggers the natural feeding response in fish. With a bright red Bleeding Bait® hook and special Blood Trail coloring throughout the skirt for fish to key on, Strike King®'s dual-bladed Bleeding Bait Spinnerbait is deadly! Quality construction, vibrating willow and Colorado blade and injured baitfish characteristics combine to make the Bleeding Bait Spinnerbait a must have!

Strike King® Bleeding Bait™ Spinnerbaits 4.5 5 47 47
Very well made Spinnerbait, with a great value! "Spinnerbaits are some of the best type of lures you can use" My buddy said when we were talking about fishing. Since I get 75% Of my fishing advice from friends I had to get one. And The Strike King Spinnerbait in the "Bleeding Chartreuse" color is, I got to say a great product. 1st up the spoons, or whatever their called cause more vibration then your average "RAT-L-TRAP" The way it feels when your reeling this sucker in makes you want to jump in there and bite it yourself. Also the color on this thing, Yellow combined with red strips, and Red hook makes you get that, "Im gonna get something on this" feeling. Iv'e had plenty of bites on this guy and iv'e caught 2 bass in the first hour of fishing and had plenty more hits! Whitch takes me to the first disadvantage. The hook just about never gets a good set. Maybe this is just me but, I think the hook maybe should be a wide gap or big mouth hook. But overall a great quality, cheap nice, lure. June 7, 2012
needs trailer to be perfect great lure. amazing detail compared to the other lure companies. i did have one i bought have a missing eye right out of the box but i guess thats not that big of a deal, i traded it out for a new one. white and red always a great color. August 14, 2011
great stained water spinnerbait I like this lure in stained water, and the red hooks seem to entice bass to hit. The hook doesn't stay sharp long so adding an extra hook is a good idea. July 14, 2011
Strike King® Bleeding Bait™ Spinnerbaits I have always had great luck with all lines of strike kings. Got one of these in lbleeding baitfish and now have a new favorite goto when they arent biting. Added a rage craw as my trailer and they cant resist. June 24, 2011

Try a steady retrieve along grass lines and docks. But you can also do a jig and retrieve method. Both work well for me a former Virginian.

Fishing with spinnerbaits can be an awesome way to catch fish. There are different techniques you can use. You can "burn them" which means to reel them in fast, or you can let them sink a bit, reel them, and stop for a sec. and reel in again. On the bass pro web site look at some Of Kevin VanDam's video tips on spinnerbait techniques. They help alot!

ive had my best luck on windy days making it land near overhead trees or any above water cover and letting it sink bass usually strike it before it hits bottom.another way is to run it slowly along the bottom or pick it up and drop it off the bottom.
