I was casting worms and tubes to bedding bass with no results. Fishing buddy gave me a Bama Rage Craw and the bass went wild.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by fisherman1212 a awesome lure
i fish in the west texas area and it is one of my favorite lures because we don't have a lot of big fish in my area. i would rig it with a small weighted hook. it can catch fish from 6 inches to 20 inches.
i fish with it for largemouth, guadalupe, spotted bass and bluegill in this area will go crazy over this lure.it is definatly worth the money and it'll catch you some good fish.
buy it

I through one of these on and dragged it over some really thick pads. great option for weedless topwater. Arms splash around and trigger some great strikes. Tough for a plastic but you will lose an arm now and again

What color is the best to catch smallies in the Dupage River in Illinois, And what should I use, a jig head or a 3/0 hook.Answers
A:Â
Can't go wrong with Greenpumkin on either a jig or 2/0 hook , due to the smaller size of the baby craw. I would use a 3/0 on the larger Rage CrawA:Â
Love this on a jighead. I use a EWG 2/0hook when split shoting or texas rig for this bait.

6 months ago, you probably know what color to use by now, in my experience sometimes a contrasting color works better than a natural one, I was amazed when orange 5" garlic scented worms caught everything here in s.e.pa last season, this year the fish didnt want the same color,,, you might try turning over some rocks to see what color the natural bait is, try buying a color to match that, and one to show the fish something they havent seen, start with green pumpkin, on a brown/orange skirted jig, weight depends on if current is a factor, i have used them carolina rigged on a 2/0 worm hook, good luck1 of 1
