The Strike King Super Finesse Worms are by far the best worms to use on a Shaky Head Jig!
Compared to traditional soft plastic lures, Strike King's revolutionary Super Finesse Worms are softer, more flexible, have loads more action and are much more durable. Made out of a proprietary Elaztech material that offers a distinct floating advantage, Super Finesse Worms are salt-impregnated to add even more temptation.

I enjoy the elasticity of the worms are awesome... however, i have found i am missing fish with the hookset... i have tried using owner hooks, gamakatsu as well as hyabuso..... new hooks used so the sharpness of these should not be the issue??

Strike KIng is the only manufacturer I have been able to find that makes a plastic worm buoyant enough to float a 2/0 or 3/0 worm hook even though the material contains salt. Most manufacturers have gone way overboard with salt to a point that worms such as shakey head baits sink like a stone and on carolina rigs as well. Elastex material is also indestructable. I have caught eight or ten fish on the same bait without any tears or teeth rash marks and still have the bait ready to go for the next trip. So soft and full of action, yet tear and damage resistant. I am waitng for my next order to come in. I ordered the four inch model for drop shot and split shot rigs. You can go wrong with these worms.

by WoodcarverNTn Best Plastic Worm
The Strike King 3X worm is the best I have ever used. Fish bite it when nothing else seems to work and when they bite, they hang on. I use it on local lakes in Tn and just returned from Minn where I caught twice as many bass this yr than last using the 3X finesse worms. The stretchy soft plastic is tougher than any other plastic worm and lasts 10 times longer. It is almost impossible to break apart. I would suggest using a tooth pick to hold the head of the worm on the hook eye, especially when fishing weeds. Excellent bait.

I was skeptical, but these worms work awesome! I rigged them on a weedless hook, with a split shot only and just drifted it....the bass hammered it! The new PB and J color is sweet!
