Be careful Strike King Zulu's catch everything that swims in Flats and Basin's around Key West.
This is the best " swim bait " I have ever used in the 30+ years I've guided in the Florida Keys

These baits are great, with the 3X plastic they are super durable, they are a pain to the rig because the hook doesn’t want to go through but once rigged they work great

I've been using zulu's for about two years, this color tends to work best in the early morning.

use 2 barrel swivels, one tied to the main line, the other one sliding above the first one. tie 2 leaders, one 16", the other one 18". tie the longer one to stationary swivel, and tie the other leader to the sliding swivel. tie a 4/O hook to each leader, then just add your favorite sort jerkbait, ane you've got one hot rig!A:Â
A double zulu is a rig with two swivels and two pieces of line both different than each other. I prefer one piece 12 inches and one 18 inches. You tie the 12 inch piece of line to the one swivel and then you take your line from your rod and put it through the end so it can slide there loosely. Tie your hook on that 12 inch piece and then take your other swivel and tie it to the end of the line coming from your rod and reel. Once you have it tied, tie the 18 inch piece to the other end and then tie your hook on and there's your double zulu rig. Hope this helped!!Answers

DEPENDS ON THE SIZE OF THE JERK. YOU REALLY WANT THE HOOK TO FIT THE LURE HALF WAY.Images for this Answer
