There's nothing like the original! An IGFA world record 573 lbs. blue marlin was no match for one of fishing's most popular monofilament lines, so why not give it a try for yourself? An ideal balance of Stren properties includes superior knot, shock, and tensile strength, plus exceptional abrasion resistance, limpness, and controlled stretch. Made in USA.
Clear/Blue Fluorescent Blue Fluorescent above water and clear underwater.
Low-Vis Clear The obvious choice for ultra-clear waters.
Hi-Vis Gold Maximum visibility for strike detection and line watching.
Low-Vis Green Blends right into algae-tinted water and areas with vegetation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CTOutdoorsman Far from the best.
This line has very minimal stretch, which means if you get any slack at all, you will loose your fish. The knots are alright though.

I caught the biggest carp i have ever caught in my life. I was fishing for perch at a nearby pond when a 50Lb carp took the bait. it took me 30 miinutes to get him in. this is all i use on all my reels.
