You get what you pay for. The lamp is definitely better than low end lamps such as the Coleman line. Beam is nothing to write home about. Who uses a green filter? Sales would have been way better with the red lense option for military use. I would have also liked a more rugged battery door.

I bought the Trident HP before I bought this light so I got a little spoiled by the brightness of the other light, but this light can hold its own. I have not used it in the field yet, however, I have confidence in this light due to its durable construction and multiple lighting options. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a good headlamp, but don't expect it to be as bright as the more powerful long distance LED's.

This is a great product that does what it was designed to do: light your path and not spook the animals. This is the second one I've owned.

just like the title states, this product is very useful. my flashlight had quit working, so I thought I would give it a try. the luminescent green light works very well at night as well as the other two selection modes, depending on your illumination needs. it is very reasonably priced, comes with three AAA batteries. I have no complaints.

The light is $25, I believe the $4 is for a replacement part for the light.A:Â
The lower price is for the replacement bulb. The higher price is for the headlamp.
