I bought one of these about 2 1/2 weeks ago from Bass Pro and love it. I have a Surefire rated at the same 200 lumens as this light and the Streamlight is just as bright and the beam is just as good with a lot better price. I will buy at least two more in the next couple of weeks.

product descrip states: slides and locks into rail mount. What's a rail mount? Can it be adapted for a hard hat?

A rail mount is the same thing that is on an AR-15. It's the rail that people attach accessories like lights, grips and optics to. With some ingenuity you could possibly mount a rifle scope rail to your hat so it would mount on it. I've seen crazier things.

Streamlight makes several rail mounts for firearms for this flashlight. Unfortunately, we do not carry these mounts at this time. They do not offer an accessory that would allow you to mount this light to a hard hat.1 of 1
