I purchased the Browning tactical flashlight ($99.00) I thought it was great, it was compact, light and strong. Then I ended up losing it during a fishing trip in Oregon. Eventually I made my way back to Basspro shop to purchase a new one. After some time talking to one of the rep's, who recommended this flashlight, I purchased it. I LOVE IT, It's cheaper and performs way better than the Browning Tactical Flashlight.

This light is very powerful! It's brighter than my 2d led maglight no doubt! Beam goes twice as far. BUT, my flashlight fell about 16 inches onto my carpeted floor and wouldn't turn on afterwards. Streamlight and bass pro were both willing to replace it and the light worked so good when it did work, so i just got another one! If it breaks again I won't replace it tho ill get something else. 100 dollar flashlights shouldn't break. Period.

The Super Tac X is very high powered. 200 lumens seems seriously under-rated. For $80 there is no better buy.
The low light level is also a nice feature which will automatically come on when the batteries are low and will last for many, many, hours after.
