Streamlight PT 2AA Ultra-Compact Tactical Flashlight
like looking at the sun
Bought this light last year and it is great. Was going to buy another for my son's hunting pack but I guess it is going in my pack since he has laid claim to mine. Super bright and AA batteries really last. Seemed a little pricey but you will soon realize it is worth every penny. I have been through more than my share of cheap lights....you just have to admit that sometimes it is well worth the little bit extra to go first class.

Night into Day
I bought this flashlight because I work in the evenings. I work as a delivery driver and sometimes the addresses that I deliver to provide very little or no lighting at all. With this flashlight I can easily spot the house numbers from a distance. I also deliver in the city and sometimes I have to go through the darkest alleys. So far I hadn't ran into any trouble however, should I run into trouble the strobe feature will definitely buy me enough time to either flee from the threat or eliminate it. I've dropped my streamlight a couple of times onto the concrete and it still works. I dropped it due to my own negligence not because of design flaw. I must say this is the best $50 I have ever spent.

Best Little Flashlight
This little flashlight holds a powerful punch! Best thing about it is that is uses regular batteries and only two of them. It is so bright on high that the only thing I can imagine using it for is to track a deer at night and it will be great for that. The instructions state that it will run for 1 and 1/2 hour on bright and if that is right I will gladly carry four extra batteries if needed. Low, which will run for 21 hours, is more than enough to walk in and out to my stand befoure or after daylight. I am 55 years old and have hunted all of my adult life and this is the best flashlight I have ever owned for the money Love this little flashlight.

This was my third purchase of this specific model. I like the fact that it uses AA batteries. It has three options: high beam, strobe and low beam. It takes a few tries to figure out how to change the lighting modes. Quickly bump the control switch without fully depressing it to the point when you hear the click; when you hear the click, the flashlight mode is selected.
