I have owned the Streamlight PT 2L, for one year now and I carry it with me every night. It is very compact and fits perfectly on the outside of my pocket with the clip. It is definitely BRIGHT for such a little flashlight. The strobe light feature is great to have for my night patrol, when first approaching someone that needs to be disorientated and the light-button can easily be pushed to switch on the Hi lighting level. It does not mention in the description about one of the most useful features this flashlight has and that is the button is a "Tactical Push" {temporary push & release} through all three light cycles (Hi, Strobe, Low) and as well single push button/ steady lock on whichever of the three choice of light beam you choose. *just to clarify there is only One button which is located on the tail-cap of the flashlight*
