Stream Fly Fishing Thermometer
Six degrees off thermometer
This product looked great in the store. Took it home and looked closer at it. First it was sitting in a way that if I used Centigrade I wouldn't be able to see it very well. Second but the most important is, it is SIX plus degrees off. If I was a bass fisherman it would be okay. But I fish for trout. And a six degree difference can make the difference in catching or not.

This is easily a $20 item if you were to pick it up in your local fly shop. It's encased in nicely anodized aluminum and looks like it will hold up to a lot of abuse (I will certainly put it through its paces). The split ring on top is nice quality and the thermometer itself measures quickly and accurately. I attached mine to a zinger and keep it on my stringer loop.

This product is accurate and very sturdy in all sorts of conditions. It has a small ring on the end which allows you to hang it on a string and also a pen clip to keep it handy. I liked the fact that it is encased in metal and capable of handling most kinds of abuse. If you look for it in the stores, look in the fly shop area!

Not Just for Streams
I'm a bank fisherman most of the time and it was always hard to know which spots would be better or not due to temp. With this it only takes less then :30 seconds to know where the warm water is and where the fish should be. Really going to enjoy this year with this simple and quality product.
