I met the guy who designed this at a Scout Expo in Utah.
I really liked the design of the fuel cell--a less flammable fuel source in my go-kit which can sit in a *garage-less* car year round.
It's a perfect size for one; I can use it for an emergency situation or spur of the moment overnight car camping trip. It also fits nicely into a dry box.

Yes, it can be extinguished by removing the cooking ring and placing the lid over the top of the can. Simply remove the lid and re-light to use remainder of fuel cell. A single fuel cell will last for about an hour depending on conditions (primarily airflow). Thanks1 of 1
