The plastic piece on the top cracked off the first time I took it out hunting. I was in a ground blind. Dropped it on the ground outside the window while I was unloading my gear, and that piece broke off. Am returning.

This bipod is excellent. I have now killed a bull elk at 300 yards and a mule deer at 150 yards using the bipod. One shot with each animal. The bipod allowed me to hold a steady aim and not miss.
I have had someone with me to carry the bipod and handed it to me when I needed to use it. Without someone to help, you will need to figure out the best way to transport it.

The Stoney Point telescoping bipod that I purchased works perfectly for me on my annual African safaris. I hunt many times in a ground blind, and this bipod is absolutely perfect for what I use it for. It's lightweight, so I can either take it and leave it in Africa for my next hunt, or I can carry it back and forth in my suitcase or in my gun case. I couldn't be happier with the usefulness, price, weight and reliability of this product,

Rated 5 out of 5Â by WesternCanuck Awesome Bipod
I bought one of these a few years ago and I love it because it steadies my rifle like a shooting rest, and it makes long range shooting seem easy. I took a nice white-tail buck last season at 300 yards. Quartering away, I was able to put the Barnes bullet through the vitals. The bullet just caught the liver and went right through the far lung, just behind the far shoulder. No mess, and no wasted meat. I just bought one for my 14 year old daughter. Without any experience shooting rifles, she is already shooting 1 1/2" groups at 100 yards. This bipod is awesome and it definately makes shooting easier.
