Designed for use in tight quarters, the Stoeger 12 Gauge P-350 Home Defense Pump Shotgun provides no-nonsense, rugged, reliable defense for your home and family. The pistol grip allows for one-handed control and helps steady the gun for accurate, effective shooting when time is of the essence. The P-350's fore-end assembly with twin action bars delivers a smooth, non-binding cycling. These bars drive the P-350's breech bolt and rotating bolt head that lock up steel to steel within the barrel thanks to three massive lugs. Blade sight for positive target aquisition. 2+1 magazine. Black synthetic finish. 18-1/2'' barrel.

Glad to see someone interested in hunting actively asking questions to become informed. Usually, one would use an over/under type gun (one barrel is above the other and one pull of the trigger fires one barrel) for this type of hunt. These guns are used because you need to get rapid successive shots off and the shots are fairly accurate because there are no moving parts acting in between shots. Don't get me wrong, you can use this gun, I'd suggest a Remington 870 Express Pump for any hunter's first gun just because it is simple to repair and maintain and the pump action teaches a waterfowl hunter to take controlled, accurate shots instead of the rapid-fire you may see from beginners using semi-auto guns and thinking the more steel they put in the air, the more birds come down.1 of 1
