The Stoeger Competition has everything a Trap Shooter needs at a fraction of what it usually costs. A comprable Beretta or Browning would cast $3,000 or more. With that said the Stoeger is no Beretta or Browning. But if the Beretta or Browning is out of your price range the Stoeger is an excellent option.
The down side of the Stoeger is that it is HEAVY! The finish work is not great.... That's why the Beretta would cost $3000.
The Condors were my first Trap and Skeet Guns. I had a 12ga Comp, 20ga Condor and a .410 Condor.

I've just got into sporting clays in March 2013, wasn't sure if I was going to continue with it, so didn't want to spend a lot of $$$ on a starter shotgun. I would say that this gun is most likely a 1 season or 1 year gun if you are shooting like me about 200 shells per week. I have now shot 1500 rounds through the gun without any issues. No FTF's No FTE's. The gun was easy to fit, a little on the heavy side compared with other guns. The balance point was at 4.5" in front of the trigger, and that works well. The choke tubes that come with the gun are not very good, but replaced them with Carlson tubes and they pattern much better. The only modifications I have made to the gun is to remove the side clips on the ejectors, and made it an extractor type as people were getting mad at me for throwing shells at them, and the gun works very well this way. Easy to clean, barrels stay bright after cleaning. Overall for the price of this gun you won't go wrong, just remember it's not a Beretta or Browning, and you do get what you pay for. But you should get 10,000 rounds from it with out any issues. There are not many working parts to go wrong. Hope this helps.
