StingRay XRIII Hydrofoil Stabilizers for Boat Motors 3.1 5 80 80
INCREDIBLE I have a Skeeter fish and ski. 18" with a 150 outboard Mariner. I bought the boat used last year without really test driving it and was ready to sell the boat this year. Out of the hole was terrible. Took forever to get on plain, and it was almost impossible to slow down without getting a lot of backwash into the back of the boat. The stingray went on in about 5 minutes, NO DRILLING, and now I feel like I am driving a different boat. Gets on plain almost immediately and I have not problem with backwash anymore. INCREDIBLE!!! Good product, some claims over rated This was the only hydrofoil I could find that required no drilling to install and wouldn't void the lower end warranty on my new 115hp Merc 4 stroke. The results of using this product on my Tracker Avalanche are okay/good. The claims of higher top end speed are not true, it actually runs 2 mph slower for my boat. The boat does plane out super fast now and most of the porpoising has been eliminated at slower speeds.. June 23, 2007
Just throw $$$ into lake If you decide to purchase this you are better off just taking $160 and throwing it into the lake. I purchased and installed this according to the manufacturers specs and after about 5 trips on the lake I noticed that not only was the stabilizer gone but also my anode on the bottom of my captivation plate. I contacted the company and told them what had happened and they told me to fill out the appropriate information and they would replace it. I have yet to hear from them after several months. Don't waste your time or money on this product. As a matter of fact, Bass Pro should pull this from the shelves as it is nothing but a waste of money. November 15, 2007
Really great product! I have used the Stingray products on other boats. This new unit is really awesome looking and is very easy to install. I like the fact that I didn't have to drill any holes in my new engine. I had it on in 3 minutes or less. Seems like it gets my boat on plane even better than the old Stingrays. Absolutely no bow rise and I think I have gained almost 6 miles per hour on top end. Nice job with the new product! July 9, 2007

Will only help your performance. When running at WOT they are out of the water and do not effect your top end.

Most likely not, Pretty sure not. It would not fit my 40 hp. And I looked on Cabala's reviews the other day , before I got this one and not too many were happy with this product and all of them with any type of mercury motor stated that it would not fit.

It fit my 200 sho with just a little modification. It gave me a little more hole shot and for my Newwater Ibis flats boat, that was important as I regularly get up in less than a foot of water.
