Single Use Hydrofoil Purchased this hydrofoil despite reading several reviews from others regarding this hydrofoil falling off. Installed the product per instructions, waited appropriate time for LocTite to cure and upon first use it was swimming with the fishes. Very disappointed. As an engineer, I was surprised that the locking screw installation instructions did not come with a recommended torque setting. Just a tiny, useless hex key and a subjective suggestion to tighten fully. Wish I would have gone with the bolt on style. Learn from my mistake and save your money for fuel. Would never recommend this product. June 19, 2011
will NOT stay on boat It had a real clean look but don't let that fool u I followed everything to the t and it stayed on the boat for about a minute have no clue what happened to it basically money down the drain product June 3, 2011
Will not recomend I have a tahoe Q-4 and i installed the stealth about 2 weeks ago, it said to wait at least 24 hrs before putting boat in the water to allow the loctite to set. It was about 4 days before I had a chance to put it in the water, seemed to do great but a stotm came up did not have time to really test it. Went home retightened the set screws like the instructions said, next time out it came off the boat so now i'm out $120.00 plus the shipping charge. Next time I will get the one that bolts on for half the price. I guess that's what i get for buying this one because it looked better than the other. Don't know if bass pro will replace it or at least give me a discount on another have not had a chance to contact them yet. May 29, 2011
poor service from manufacture The part came with a missing screw. Instead of sending it back, we called the manufacture the day we got it and asked them to send us the missing screw. Needless to say we still don't have all of the screws needed to finish the installation. May 5, 2011

A:
IT comes with 6 set screws and fits on the lower unit just above the prop. It is a true no drill. The way it's designed it can only fit one way. Not sur about the 75 horse but I think you have different models to choose from

"All the hardware you need is included: four bolts, four self-locking nuts, four stainless steel washers, and four
rubber washers. Simply drill four (4) quarter-inch holes in the cavitation plate on the lower drive unit and bolt the StingRay™ on.

Pre-drilled holes in the StingRay™ serve as a guide for drilling the four holes. Placing the StingRay™ on top of the cavitation plate, insert the bolts from the bottom up. Place the rubber washers on the bottom side and the stainless steel washers between the top of the unit and the self-locking nuts. Use a socket wrench to tighten the nuts.

In a matter of minutes you’re ready to enjoy unmatched performance."
