Best money ever spent
The StingRay Stealth is a great investment. I run a 225 Johnson Venom with a 27 deg prop on a 21ft Javelin. I was a little skeptical at first, putting one on a Bass Boat but the difference in the hole shot is tremendous. And if I lost any speed on the top end I can't tell it. The unit was very easy to install, one allen wrench provided and five minutes.

Disappointed! Well, actually it's junk!
I purchased this unit May 17 2012, upon installation on my 150 optimal engine, the unit cracked. I contacted the manufacturer about my issue and they said send it back to them and they would replace it with the new updated stealth 2. Three weeks went by and I did not receive my replacement so I once again contacted customer service, they said they would check into it, 4 more days passed and I finally received the replacement stealth 2. Upon installation of the replacement stealth 2, I discovered that one of the screw holes was not drilled all the way through, thus not allowing the set screw to make contact with the cavitation plate on my engine, so I contacted customer service AGAIN!!!!! In short, I was told to just force the set screw through the hole!!! I was amazed at the poor quality of these units as well as the poor customer service. I ended up with two faulty units, the one I have now I would have either had to drill and tap the faulty screw hole or just scrap it, it ended up in the trash! Purchased another brand. In closing, STAY AWAY from this product!

I had been having all sorts of issues trying to get my stratus bass boat to come out of the hole and plane. Have spent nearly 2000 dollars at a local marina, still would not hole shot or plane correctly.
I purchased the stingray thinking "one last hope", and OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! My boat has never performed better!!! Thank you so much for your product!

Mounting seem to go OK. Was more than pleased with performance and how quick boat was up on plane and overall performance. However after only one use, came in and found that part of it had broken off. Took back to local Bass Pro shop and received a new one. Reinstalled and after second use, again found it broken. Going to the bolt on type.

IT comes with 6 set screws and fits on the lower unit just above the prop. It is a true no drill. The way it's designed it can only fit one way. Not sur about the 75 horse but I think you have different models to choose from
"All the hardware you need is included: four bolts, four self-locking nuts, four stainless steel washers, and four rubber washers. Simply drill four (4) quarter-inch holes in the cavitation plate on the lower drive unit and bolt the StingRay™ on.
Pre-drilled holes in the StingRay™ serve as a guide for drilling the four holes. Placing the StingRay™ on top of the cavitation plate, insert the bolts from the bottom up. Place the rubber washers on the bottom side and the stainless steel washers between the top of the unit and the self-locking nuts. Use a socket wrench to tighten the nuts.
In a matter of minutes you’re ready to enjoy unmatched performance."
