Put on my aluminum 18 ft. Klamath which has a Mercury Bigfoot 60hp. Took boat out to Delta in windy and choppy conditions. Wow, what a difference! Came up on plane faster without the bow pointing to the moon. At cruising speed and trim the bow is noticeably lower so the bow now cuts thru the waves and ride is a lot smoother. Before the slightest chop would beat both my wife and I up pretty good. Now we were both comfortable in very choppy conditions. Easy to put on and was worth every penny. May drill holes to make it more permanent.

I put this on my Yamaha 40HP outboard for use on my 16' Xpress. It took 10 minutes to put on, the set screws are a little snug, make sure to use the provided loc-tite so they don't lossen up, great quality. I'm no mechanically inclined but if I put it on with no issues at all then anyone can.

Tes it will. I have a 2005 Mercury Bigfoot 60hp. fourstroke. Went right on. You have to remove your trim tab first. Make sure you mark the trim tab position with a grease pencil first to make sure it goes back on the same orientation. Made a huge difference on my Klamath 18 ft. boat. You will like it. Easy to put on too.
