Stick It Anchor Pin System
Definitely worh the money
I got one of these for Christmas and thought I would throw in my two cents. I've tried it a few times now and for the money, it's definitely a good product. A couple things, if you're hoping to use this alone with no other anchor, it will NOT hold your boat perfectly still. That being said, if you use this product with a traditional anchor, it actually works BETTER with wind. I use it specifically for cat fishing and bay fishing for reds. I have a 19 ft kenner bay boat and this pole anchor is more than enough. I put out my regular anchor off the front with about 30 ft of line out in 3-5 ft of water. If you angle your boat right and stick this anchor in right, it'll hold your boat perfectly still. Actually more wind (10-20mph) works even better. It will come loose after a while, but it's easy to reset it. I used it where it'll hold for an hour or longer it it's stuck in right. Also, I would recommend a floatation device, but it's not necessary. The anchor won't come out of the nylon loop unless it's extreme circumstances. Any cheap Styrofoam piece of noodle will work perfectly, and it only needs to be about a foot long for it to float. If you're buying this for duck hunting, I would recommend two of them if you're sitting in calm water, and maybe even the anchor pins to sit perfectly still, otherwise a regular anchor used with this is perfect. Save your money on one of those expensive electric anchors and buy this.

After many hours of research on the stick it vs the Wang. I went with the stick-it. I wanted to write this review after using it to give others some insight to it. I was fishing in the flats-came across some bait and put the stick it to work. i gotta tell you. It was great. I have a 1910 TE action craft coastal bay boat. it stopped and held it perfect. I was very impressed. Then went to another area. This area had a some harder ground. It was a bit harder to get it to stick to that ground. But once I got it. No problems. So in my opinion it is worth the cost. No anchor to deploy. Harder ground is the only issue with the stick it. I would say living over on the west coast oyster bars areas. The wang with the stainless silver tip might be a better choice. But all in all it worked great
