I purchased the 512 Gold Wing 12 Gauge on Friday 5/24/2013 and was able to shoot it on 5/26. This gun is a great purchase for the money. It handled well on the trap range and other shooters in my group were asking about the gun after we finished the round. They couldn't believe what I had paid for the weapon and thought it was comparable to the $1200+ under/overs on the market. The gold trigger and dove caught their eye. I shot 125 rounds through it so far. Being new to shooting, I thought it handled well. Very easy to use and clean. I agree with some of the other reviews. The hinge is tight, but loosens with use. You have to make sure that you fully open the action when extracting spent shells. If you don't, the pins don't reset for the next firing. Other than that, I am satisfied with the purchase and look forward to years of shooting this weapon.

I bought this gun for my dad to rabbit hunt with. It shoots and functions well and is lighter to carry than other guages. overall its a good gun for the money. My only dislike is the finish on the stock and forearm. The stain is "thick" and hides the grain of the wood, almost like its painted.I do think the checkering is nice and very detailed, good design.

I bought this gun as a skeet gun. For me it is great it doesn't cost a ton but shoots great. Works so well I picked up another one that was just 6 months old for $350. I will be trying it on upland birds come fall. The only issue I have come across is when new it is stiff and you really have to make a point to open it all the way to cock it or it doesn't fire.

An O/U for under $600.00 in a 28 guage? Stock fits nicely, well balanced. It has bonus features such as ejectors & barrell selector. For the money it is a lot nicer than other brands in this price range. In addition it doesn't take two hands to break the barrel open. The only negative for some might be that the safety doesn't reset when the barrels are closed.
