Because some bow hunters close one of their eyes to shoot their bow, I must admit that when I first installed the sight, I had to get use to it because of the large field of view. I highly recommend practicing at 10 yards to get use to the sight, and using the arch to align with the top of your sight. Once I got real comfortable with the peep, I was able to shoot with both eyes opened and everything opened up and came natural.
I must warn you that you will not shoot dead on with your first shot because it takes practice and a lot of it to get use to this peep sight. And because it is not like your ordinary peeps, you may need to do some adjustments as well.
If you are not serious about trying to see your targets openly and differently, and don't want to practice then don't waste your time with this peep. BUT if you are serious and willing to put the time to get use to this peep then believe me that it will change the way you shoot your bow forever. This peep opens up your bow hunting world at low-light and offers that pivotal chance when big bucks come in at last light.
I absolutely highly recommend this peep any given day because it has helped me shoot my bow with both eyes opened and that has changed the way I bow hunted forever.

this sight is by far the best. i have used many others and always had some issues. however, i would agree this sight is some what irrating at first to get use to but i would encourage any one to practice and practice with this sight first in order to gain muscle memory. Then when you get in the stand and see the big one every thing will come natural without any hesitation. Tom Nelson (American Archery) is the one who turned me on to it and it works. I use the mini and it gives way enough light.

The String Splitter is great for low light situations. I have had no problems with accuracy due to the large hole. You only need a consistent anchor and align the top of the peep with the top of your sight gaurd.

I liked the idea of the string spitter because of the low light capabilities but after installing it and attempting to sight through it I found it nearly impossible to line it up with my site. The site picture is so large (using Jr. String splitter) that I immeadiatly remove it and reinstalled my old peep. The splitter is so large even with the Jr. model that there would be a lot of error with the alignment with the bow site. I wouldn't recommend it.
