From the durable finish to the "as advertised" auto focus these binoculars are top of the line.
If you're looking for a great set of binoculars to use for hunting, fishing, or other activity, look no further. Crystal clear viewing at its finest, and at only 18 ounces you won't even notice them in your pocket or around your neck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ernie66 Very good product!
These are great binoculars for the price. They are bright, sharp, and have great contrast . The small size is surprising until you look through them, then a new wide view opens up that is pleasantly surprising. I was used to large, heavy ones, so the small, light MM3!0's are perfect for hiking the mountains and desert!

Purchased Marine 8x30s at West Marine for work and sports viewing. Now I know what I've been missing using lesser glass. The light transmission and field of view really make a difference versus what I had been using. The sports focus is fantastic. Set it and forget it. Everyone who tries them can't believe the clarity. Overall a wonderful product at a reasonable price. Will not be my only pair of Steiners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carlos Great Product!!
I purchased this 8x30 bino more than 2 years ago and have used it primarily at the range but also for sight seeing and some nature watching. I was a little worried that the fixed 8-power it offers would limit its utility. This is the clearest binoculars I have ever used. The quality of the optics is outstanding. Makes me want to get a 20-power version for use for long range spotting.
What I and my friends finds the most amazing is the Auto Focus feature. It does not matter who uses it and what their vision might. It did not matter if they were near or far sighted. The binos provided clear, crisp focus and instantaneous transition between subjects near and far. This includes focusing on something at 10-yards to a measured 600+ yards without any detectable delay.
I highly recommend this optic for most uses. The only "problem" I have ever had a problem is one or both of the attached objective lense caps seem to always find its way onto the objective on its own. So once in a while you will find yourself looking through the optic and not see anything. But other than this, I have no complaints.
