I purchased this for our 19 month old and love it! We are able to let them float in the water by themselves without needing to constantly be holding onto them (of course they are still under adult supervision). As most parents know, it is hard to go into deeper water and hold onto a toddler for any length of time. This item is a God send in that it gives you the piece of mind that they are a lot safer while being in or around water without constantly needing to be right next to them. This floating device keeps their head up and out of the water unlike some other floatation devices. Our child loves to hang out and just float around with us in the water on her own while at the same time they are learning how to manouver in the water to get them from place to place. To me it was well worth the purchase!

Not that another 5 Star rating is needed but I just wanted to add that this will be my sons 3rd year in the Puddle Jumper and it has been truly a blessing. We are at the lake every weekend and have a pool in the back yard. It has stood the test of time and durability. This will probably be my sons last year in this jacket because he is getting too big (will be 5 in Oct.) and I am not sure what we are going to do next summer! It is the ideal life-jacket for all active and non-active swimmers.

The swimming aid was a big hit for my 4-yr old grandson. This worked a lot better than the circle floats or the individual inflatable arm floats. Actually, he won't wear the individual inflatable arm floats, but I had no problem getting him to wear this one. He was able to maneuver through the pool on his own and wasn't afraid that he could not touch the bottom! He was very comfortable and secure that this would keep him from going under. Great for allowing them flexibility to learn the swimming motions with his arms. Great purchase!

I am very happy with this floatee. It's much better than a vest, which tends to come up on small children's necks. And much easier to put on than the whole suit floatees. It can be difficult to get over the arms after it is wet but I recommend this product wholeheartedly!
