Star brite® Mildew Stain Remover brings the strongest, most trusted mildew cleaning power in the industry for all your land and water vehicles. Perfectly formulated for boats, RVs, cars, trucks, and campers, Star brite Mildew Remover uses a special buffered formula unlike anything else on the market to eradicate mildew from vinyl seats, cushions, tops, and covers. Much safer than bleach, this mildew cleaner works on contact without long waits or heavy scrubbing. Just a sample of treatable surfaces include fiberglass, painted surface, rubber, plastic, and vinyl headliners, bolsters, and upholstery. Unlike ordinary cleaners, Star brite cleaner will never weaken fabric or thread. Use it on chairs, canopies, tile, grout, showers, curtains, mats, awnings—you name it. Just spray on, let mildew stains disappear, and wipe off; heaviest stains might need a second coat and mild scrubbing. Not recommended on fabric. Once stains are gone, just rinse off and enjoy your mildew-free surfaces. Manufacturer model #: 85616P.
Strongest, most trusted mildew cleaning power
Will never weaken fabric or thread
Perfect for boats, RVs, cars, trucks, and campers
Cleans vinyl seats, cushions, tops, covers, canopies, curtains, showers, awnings, and more
not worth it
Considering all the warnings and 'toxins' in this bottle, I expected it to wipe out all the mold stains on the boat seats...but after multiple applications, spraying, wiping, scrubbing, we realized it was useless. Tilex works far better; we just thought we would give this "most efective way to control and prevent mildrew stains on boats" a try. Not even close.. Not worth the money, shipping or trouble.

Star Brite Mildew Remover is the best. We use it on our pontoon carpet which is subject to lots of wet, dirty water where the carpet is not protected from the elements. The Star Brite removes the mildew every time making the carpet look comparatively like the protected areas. Great product.

Just spray it on, let it set and wipe it off. Works great.

It should, but the vendor recommends testing a spot first to make sure it doesn’t harm the surface. For cleaning fiberglass on boats, the vendor recommends a good boat wash first to try and clean it off or a Starbrite or Bass Pro Shops branded cleaner wax that has some grit to it.
I've had few areas where mildew builds up on the fiberglass itself and have used the product to get it off. I think the product was more intended for removal of mildew on seats and side panels. When I would use it on fiberglass I would always make sure to wax that area immediatly so it would no fade the glass.
