Bought this rod with a shimano spheros 4000 7'6" in length and am very happy, casts very well. Cant say I know anyhting different this being my first saltwater combo. Held up to 25-30 trout this past weekend. I love the action and the way it feels.

amazing rod got the Medium 7"6 paired it up with a shimano stradic 5000fi great balance i can cast a mile great rod.
