Stand Out Hooks For Bass
These are the greatest hooks sold today for drop shotting for SMB. The size 1 hooks has consistantly caught bass up to 6-1/2# without the bass swallowing the hooks!.
The hook ALWAYS gets embedded into the top of mouth, and rarely do the bass shake them off.
I highly recommend them for dropshotting as this hook always keeps your bait on a horizontal plane for more visibility.

I have been using the standout drop shot hooks this year and I must say they work great. I wasn't to sure about them at first but after using them for about 5 solid hours I have added them to the arsenal full time. Anyone who is new to fishing a drop shot I would suggest you start out using them. One reason I really liked them is that with the line running through the hook it will keep the bait standing straight out, this has solved a problem of mine in the past. The bait would sometimes lean one way or twist the hook to one side which I think caused missed fished or bad hook ups. Doug

Don't waste your money
These hooks are not just dull, but they are too heavy as well. The idea is a good one, but they need to be sharper, and made out of a lighter material. I dropshot 4" Robo's, and these hooks sink them. Until they fix these problems, I'll just stick to traditional hooks.

These hooks are great for both dropshotting for bass, as well as jigging for other species, such as panfish. For crappie fishing, I like to tie on a size 4 stand out hook with a minnow about a foot above my crappie jig. Excellent product!
