StandOut™ Hooks
Innovative fishing system puts your bait in the prime drop shottin' zone (above the fish and snags) and keeps it there. "Up" presentation offers better visibility, while enticing lever action simulates a fearful baitfish--resulting in vicious strikes!

Works just as advertised - keeps the plastics out level lifelike. Would have given five stars except nothing man made is perfect

These hooks are great for both dropshotting for bass, as well as jigging for other species, such as panfish. For crappie fishing, I like to tie on a size 4 stand out hook with a minnow about a foot above my crappie jig. Excellent product!

These hooks are great for drop shot fishing. The business end of the hook stands out straight and holds the soft plastics in the strike zone. Perfect for floating worms. I will always have these hooks in my bass boat.

there is a picture on the back of the package, you tie a Palomar knot on the looped part and leave the tag end a few feet long. then you run the tag end through the eye of the hook, tie a weight to the tag end. simple and effective.A:Â
A simple Palomar knot at bend with leader going through the eyeletTop 50 Contributor

rigging them is super easy, and there are diagrams on each package that show you how to do it. It requires tying only one palomar knot.A:Â
Figure out how far off the bottom you intend to dropshot. Not from the end of the line up toe a Palomar knot onto the bend of the Standout hook, hook up for obvious reasons. Now run your tag end down through the eye of the hook. Add your favorite dropshot finesse bait and weight and your ready to coax some fish.A:Â
