Stainless Steel Motor Mount for Sevylor® Boats
Motor mount for sevylor
The second time I used mine one of the Plastic nut clamps broke. I was able to use a small hose clamp for a field repair. I had a local machine shop make me some new clamps from aluminum bar stock of a superior design. I have extra if anyone needs one. Let me know here. I did purchase the Sevylor 3 piece wood floor and that made the boat much more rigid. I am using a Prowler 45 pound thrust mMotor. I had to add a 3/4" wood piece to the top of the mount so the motor mount would fit properly.

This product is light and easy to assemble. The end caps on the metal bars came out after only the second use. It has held up good other than that but I am not sure how it will hold up after a longer period of time.

Great product add on for my seyvlor boat. Wayyy better then anything that i could have rigged up on my own. For the money that is haha. Make sure you have it fastened on properly with additional measures to insure it will not fall off in case of breaking.

Yes it would. You will need a piece of plywood under your battery to spread the weight. Depending on the length of your motor power wires, you can put your battery anywhere on the bottom. Be sure to sand the edges and eliminate any potential snags.
