These sticks are like no other rods on this earth—absolutely the state of the art in rodmaking. The St. Croix® Legend Tournament® Bass Spinning Rod features NSi (Nano Silica) resin, a 3M™ technology that fills the voids in the graphite yet still reduces weight, resulting in a blank that is lighter, stronger, and closer to indestructible than any other blank on the planet. The high-modulus SCIV graphite blank also sports Integrated Poly Curve® and Advanced Reinforcing Technology (ART™). Equipped with Fuji® K series tangle-free guides; Fuji SK2 split reel seat; Flex Coat® slow-cure finish; and super-grade cork split-grip handles to reset the fulcrum point for efficient casting. Manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty. Handcrafted in the USA.

Great rod. Ok handle I ordered this rod and didn't realize how small the cork split handle/grip was. It was uncomfortable to me since my pinky and ring finger weren't able to fit on the handle and I didn't feel like I had a good grip. The sensitivity and action of the rod was amazing though. If you're interested in this rod I would suggest holding one in the store first to see if you like the way it feels. I ended up exchanging it for the St Croix Legend elite spinning rod since it has a full handle grip. July 31, 2014
Great fishing rod I'm in the middle of my vacation and have been fishing everyday with my St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning rods. I decided to step it up and ordered the LTB Wacky Style spinning rod and paired it with a Shimano Stradic FJ 2500. I've been fishing with it for the last 3 days and to be honest I thought I wouldn't like it. It felt different than the Mojo Bass rods (which I like very much). I changed the way I held the rod and now I love it! The section where the reel attaches to the handle is very comfortable a lot better than the MB. It feels more "Solid" and a lot stronger than the Mojo Bass rods. It might be just a little more sensitive than the MB (maybe). It also weighs (according to my scale) 10 gm less than my Mojo Bass Wacky Style spinning rod. It's a terrific fishing rod September 9, 2013
Pure power and feel I paired the 7'1" MHF with a Stradic CI4 3000 and this is by far the best rod I have ever fished. The rod will cast light lures as far as you want with great accuracy. June 8, 2013
Great but in different ways I bought the 6'10 ML XF version specifically for drop shotting. I paired it with a Stradic Ci4 2500 and all the trimmings. It is sensitive but the tip is not as soft as I expected but it does have a lot of power so take that for what it is worth. Where this rod has excelled is for working lighter jigs. I use this rod with hair jigs and I have a new dynamite combo. St Croix must have a different rating because the rod does not feel like a ML. It is very sensitive and combined with a Ci4, it is a very light out fit. I'll continue to experiment with it for drop shotting but I might turn to a Loomis for a dedicated drop shot rod. However for lighter jigs, this will be my go-to combo. May 17, 2012
