St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass Spinning Rod
Great fishing rod
I'm in the middle of my vacation and have been fishing everyday with my St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning rods. I decided to step it up and ordered the LTB Wacky Style spinning rod and paired it with a Shimano Stradic FJ 2500.
I've been fishing with it for the last 3 days and to be honest I thought I wouldn't like it. It felt different than the Mojo Bass rods (which I like very much). I changed the way I held the rod and now I love it! The section where the reel attaches to the handle is very comfortable a lot better than the MB. It feels more "Solid" and a lot stronger than the Mojo Bass rods. It might be just a little more sensitive than the MB (maybe). It also weighs (according to my scale) 10 gm less than my Mojo Bass Wacky Style spinning rod.
It's a terrific fishing rod

Great but in different ways
I bought the 6'10 ML XF version specifically for drop shotting. I paired it with a Stradic Ci4 2500 and all the trimmings.
It is sensitive but the tip is not as soft as I expected but it does have a lot of power so take that for what it is worth.
Where this rod has excelled is for working lighter jigs. I use this rod with hair jigs and I have a new dynamite combo.
St Croix must have a different rating because the rod does not feel like a ML. It is very sensitive and combined with a Ci4, it is a very light out fit.
I'll continue to experiment with it for drop shotting but I might turn to a Loomis for a dedicated drop shot rod. However for lighter jigs, this will be my go-to combo.

Great rod. Ok handle
I ordered this rod and didn't realize how small the cork split handle/grip was. It was uncomfortable to me since my pinky and ring finger weren't able to fit on the handle and I didn't feel like I had a good grip. The sensitivity and action of the rod was amazing though. If you're interested in this rod I would suggest holding one in the store first to see if you like the way it feels. I ended up exchanging it for the St Croix Legend elite spinning rod since it has a full handle grip.

I have four Legend Tournament Bass Rods and let me state that these rods are a bit pricy. However they make the money spent well worth it. Goes back to "You get what you pay for". These rods are very comfortable and light, but strong. Which means a lot for those long days on the water. The sensitivity is simply amazing. You can feel everything!!!
