Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT BUY I purchased a Mojo Musky in on August 2nd 2013, the rod tip fell apart on September 22nd 2013. St Croix DID NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY, they wanted to argue that the rod could be glued and would not replace or refund. On one conversation with a ST Croix the technician actually said "This doesn't look like our tip". He actually asked if I replaced the tip, what a joke. I own many rods, G-Loomis, Fenwick, and Shimano, and sadly St Croix. If you actually want to fish more than once a year try a Fenwick,G-Loomis or Shimano, I have never broken one. But I have broken about 6 St Croix of 20 years...all at the tip. work to prove this, including the shipping of the rod to ST Croix out of my own pocket. October 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Quality Product Co worker talked me into Muskie fishing with him, after 1 trip I was sold and we only had follows that day. I purchased the 7' 2" MH 3/4 to 3 ouce rod and paired it up with a Abu Garcia C4 reel. Rod handles smaller bucktails, all sizes of Suicks, Rapala Super Shads and Gliders well. A little light for the bigger tandem bucktails and way light for throwing Bulldawgs. Not having a full grip was never an issue and don't even notice it. Not that I expect any issues, the 5 year warranty is nice but when you spend $160 like you would have for a St.Croix Avid rod the lifetime warranty would be a bonus. October 26, 2011

Choosing the right model?

Details:
I want to buy this rod but I don't know if I should buy the MH or H power rating. The reason is I throw various bucktails and twin 10's about 75% of the time I'm on the water, and these lures are roughly in the 1-2 oz. range which fit perfectly with the MH power, but are a bit light for H. The other 25% of the time I fish I throw bulldawgs which go about 5 oz and would fit the H power. So I guess basically what I'm asking is would the rod handle better occasionally throwing lures that are too heavy, or having many lures that are too light?

I tried the tandem bucktails like you use in 10" and some of the bigger plastic jerkbaits like the bulldawgs and it was just too much for the 7'2" MH Mojo Musky I have. Like I posted in my review, for 9-10' Suicks, Smaller Bucher Tails, Rapala gliders and Shallow Shads the MH works great.

I would say if your going to buy 1 rod, I would go for the H model. I purchased another rod/reel setup recently for the bigger 12" Suicks, Big Bucktails and Pounder Bulldawgs for this year.

I think the Abu Garcia Revo Toro or Revo Toro Winch would be the ideal reel for this rod. Either of those two reels are heavy duty enough to take full advantage of the strength of this rod. Plus these reels are the only low profile reels with a clicker. A round reel would work on this rod, but the split grip makes me want to put a low profile reel on it.
