Rated 3 out of 5 by not worth the money This is a well made rod with nice action. My problem with the rod is the handle was to narrow the front fore grip was way to thin. Fishing on the flats all day this rod was very uncomfertable to hold yet it was very light. The hook set was great but again the rod to hold was uncomfertable. Also with a rod of this price St. Croix should have placed a hook keepr on it. There is no reason to have to buy a 3$ hook saver to place on a $300 plus rob. I did call St. Criox on this and they said they could not find the perrect place, weak answer !!!!! So over all could be a great rod but comes up short becuase of the comfort to hold all day and price !!! January 10, 2013
