This rod was more designed for trout and the streamers associated with that style of fishing. If you are looking for a great streamer rod i would go with the Sage Bass series. They are great rods and have different weights for bluegill al lteh way up to peacock bass.
I have fished the largemouth rod and it is great. I wil lbe picking up the bluegill or smallmouth rod here shortly.
