Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Nice Inshore Rod I have 3 tidemaster and all 3 are very good rods. See my tidemaster review. I got the Avid 7'6" med and I love the fast action more so then the tidemater. The Avid is a little lighter and is a little faster in the tip. Great rod have used it in the open flats but I'm sure when I get around the shore line it will come in handy. Great made rod!!! It was worth the extra $$$ over the tidemaster. April 8, 2013
