2012 St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass
I bought this rod new 2 days ago and on the 10th cast a eyelet broke. I hope this is a fluke with a highend rod. I have been impressed with St. Croix the company and their warranty. I am returning this one to BPS and hope the next St. Croix proves to be the quality I expected.

I have the model from the year before this and it is simply amazing. You really get what you paid for. I never thought I'd pay so much for a rod but after handling one at the store I was in shock, I mostly use the premiers by St. Croix and they're amazing but this is 100 times better.
They're feather weight, I dont mean they're like a feather, I'm not speaking metaphorically. These are actually so light you have to do a double take to make sure you're holding a rod. Mine is a 6'6" medium paired with a Shimano Curado E51...its an awesome combo. Although I'll probably upgrade the reel soon to better fit the rod.
This rod is sensitive enough that I can feel when my lures brushes thru grass, I can feel the difference between bass nudging the bait and taking it. Its simply awesome.
I'll be buying a 7'+ MH soon to add to my arsenal. Hold one, you'll never want to put it down.
