The rifle looks great and the action works well (once lubed with a bit of oil). The stock is wood so that is refreshing. The bolt however fell off within 2 weeks. I re-attached using a metal screw instead of the glue or whatever adhesive was used before. Could be better for the money

i ordered these guns for a christmas present for my boys they were so excited when they got them but after looking at them one had a crack on the wood by the trigger and after three days with the other gun the bolt action lever fell off and i had to glue it back on. we do ;not live in the area so we did not have a chance to bring them back we are just hoping they stay together. wish we would have received them in better condition but love your store.

I purchased this item based on the quality of similar items I have purchased from Bass Pro which were all very good. In general overall the gun is similar in quality to toy guns I would purchase at dollar store for $15.00. I expected better quality for the higher price and I expect better quality from Bass Pro. Specifically the gun arrived in an oversized box with no, natta, zip, packaging. just he gun in a big box. The light weight trigger guard was bent and nearly broke off. The bolt action was very sloppy, The stock had a 12" long crack in it. Just not happy, paid $25.00 for a $12.00 gun.

today when i went to bass pro shops and i saw that gun and i said to myself i gotta get that gun! when i bought it it was great! im a total history guy and i have a PHD in history and even i was impressed!
