This Taper-Lock Hi-Lo System Pedestal can be used in full upright position or down in lower position. The seat mount removes from post to mount boat seat in lower position while boat is underway. Measures 16'' from boat deck to top of the rust-proof, die cast aluminum swivel. 2'' post pedestal.

The hi low pedistal turned out to be just a pedistal. Bass Pro does not carry the necessary parts to make it hi low, even if your add says it is.
This whole order was a disaster

Unless I find something magic, big guys should not buy these tapered locks from Springfield. I have a pedistal on my boat right now that I cannot get out. Next is a club. Otherwise, the System works great.
