Springfield's Kingpin Seat Posts are made from aluminum and feature a Super Sparkle finish for a long-lasting appeal. Kingpin Seat Posts have heftier 1-3/4'' diameter posts and reinforcement ring. Available with Standard or Threaded pins.

I bought a Tracker boat and needed a short Kingpin for my wife's seat. The shortest I could find was 11". I bought one of these and cut it at 6". I then punched the seat insert out of the cut off piece and drove it into the 6" pin. It works great. So it is adjustable, only any adjustment is permanent!

I sat on my seat today and the internal peice pressed half way down the pipe, i am very diappointed about the materials used to make pole.

After using the pedistal, maybe 6 times, I noticed that I seemed to be leaning. I removed the seat post and found that the post was bent off center and reinforcement ring was showing flattening. I weigh 189 pounds and have never had any problems with the other manufacturer's post.
