Rated 2 out of 5 by not happy My lovely wife bought this for me for Christmas and i was excited to try it.First time out i had it tight in the mount.Very shortly after started fishing it came loose and will not stay tight. There doen't seem to be enough threads on the pole to hold up to a little stress.Am planning to return to Bass pro first chance i get to go there. Rated 5 out of 5 by A must for aluminum bass boats Bought for added room for trolling motor pedal. Got much more than expected. When fishing off the side of the boat it gives you extra room for your feet so it doesn't feel as though you're sitting on your rails. Its also nice when standing I front running the motor the seat swings back out of your way. It's only a four inch offset but it feels like you have an extra foot. It's alittle bit pricey I feel it's well worth the money. May 29, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by VERY NICE MADE FOR BIG GUYS I bought this offset post due to me being a big guy and every bit of room makes a difference well built the only thing i would recomend is getting some wax that people use for canning its called parafin wax or something close to that sorry if i spelled wrong but the wax makes a huge difference on lubricating for noise and being able to remove easy i had tried wd 40 and all the other lubes but the wax works best day in day out fishing 4 days a weeks and in bad weather the seat post rocks April 14, 2012

Could you use a 13" pedastel with it to increase total height...It would be for a Champion 18' 6?

Answers

A:
They are too short for a "pro" seat or butt seat, but I added a 13" pedestal to raise it up and it works just fine for me with those seats. I'm 6'1'.
