Rated 4 out of 5Â by brassman Good pistol
Good for concealed carry, but a little wide for IWB
A larger cartridge capacity would help.
Easily controlled and accurate and very simple to take down.

I have had this gun for about 4 years and i love it still. i have bigger hands and before i even shot it i bought a small pinky grip for the smaller clip. fits me so perfectly.
I didnt want to spend a fortune on my carry gun and i went with this one. i can tell a difference in quality from my sig p226 but i am very impressed at how accurate the pistol is even at distance. i love my xd and would absolutely recommend it for someone's carry weapon.
since it is a .40, the handle is wide and sometimes prints pretty bad. I have an in the pants holster and you can see a small print if im only wearing a t shirt. but i would rather print and have 10 +1 in .40 cal than not print with a single stack system with less ammo.

A little wide but over all great size for an every day carry gun. Shoots really good groups at 10 to 15 feet for being a compact gun. I have ran a hundred rounds thru mine with no issues.

I love it. Great, did take a few rounds to get use to away from a Glock 27, but like this better. It is my carry and conceal piece 24/7 now.

I know a couple of people that have this pistol and their's are true semi-autos.Answers
A:Â
It is a semi-auto double action onlyA:Â
It's a stricker style semi-auto. Does not have a hammer. When you pull the slide back it sets the stricker pin. No way to De-cock.A:Â
This is a true semi automatic pistol. The difference between SA & DA is that with SA you need to manually cock back the hammer with DA you can do either or cock back the hammer or just engage the hammer by pulling the trigger. It is still Semi Auto.A:Â
It is double action only. Which still makes it a true semi-auto. A semi-automatic pistol is a type of handgun which uses a single chamber and barrel, with a mechanism powered by the previous shot to load a fresh cartridge into the chamber. One round is fired each time the trigger of a semi-automatic pistol is pulled. It has nothing to do with the action type.1 of 1
